|

The 5094-RTB3I terminal block is an isolated terminal block that has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. It is available from the Flex 5000 series. The 5094-RTB3I isolated terminal block is compatible with several different Flex 5000 series input and output modules, but it is sold separately from the input and output modules. It supports 250 Volts of continuous isolation voltage for channel to chassis isolation and for SA to chassis isolation. The 5094-RTB3I isolated terminal block does not come with an enclosure for protection from dust and liquids.

The Allen-Bradley 5094-RTB3I Flex 5000 isolated removable terminal block is an isolated removable terminal block assembly for the Flex 5000 machine control system. The 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block is made to connect to the Flex 5000 I/O terminal base assembly that is required for the installation and the field-side wiring of every Flex 5000 I/O module. A Flex 5000 I/O terminal base assembly consists of a mounting base and a removable terminal block that must be ordered separately and then assembled. Unlike other removable terminal blocks in its class, the 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block comes with built-in channel isolation on each of the input and output terminals that protects them against contact with the live conducting parts.

The 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block has a maximum I/O current rating of 2.0 Amps at 32 Volts DC. It also has a Sensor Actuator (SA) current rating of 10 Amps at an operating voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC. Each I/O channel is isolated from the chassis. The 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block has 250 Volts AC continuous isolation between the I/O channels and I/O chassis and between the sensor actuator and chassis. The 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block uses solid or stranded copper wire with 22 x 14 AWG wire size and 3.5 pounds on an inch of approximate terminal screw torque. The 5094-RTB3I removable terminal block has built-in key switches for setting the I/O module positions and an I/O edge connector for proper I/O module installation. On the front of the block are I/O terminal strips for connecting I/O wiring, commons, and power supplies. If an analog I/O module or high-speed counter module is installed, shield bar accessories must also be connected.
