The Allen-Bradley 5094-STB-QTY5 kit is a pack of 5 shield bars. Shield bars like the catalog number 5094-STB shield bar from the 5094-STB-QTY5 kit are required to wire the shields for all the analog I/O modules and the HSC modules that use terminal base assemblies with the catalog numbers 5094-TB3 or 5094-TB3T. The 5094-STB-QTY5 kit is available separately from these modules and it can be ordered from Allen-Bradley as required. The 5094-STB shield bar from the 5094-STB-QTY5 kit is also required to wire shields for HART modules which use the terminal base assemblies with the catalog numbers 5094-TB3ISXT, 5094-TB3IXT, 5094-TB3IS, or 5094-TB3I. The shield bar should be grounded separately after it is installed in the FLEX 5000 I/O system. The 5094-STB shield bar is available in an open enclosure. The bar weighs approximately 56 grams. The dimensions of the 5094-STB shield bar are 33 x 94 x 24 millimeters.

The 5094-STB shield bar includes mounting hooks, release hatches, and locking pegs. The maximum current rating for the 5094-STB shield bar is 10 Amps and the maximum voltage rating for the shield bar is 300 Volts AC. The wire size recommended for use with the 5094-STB shield bar is 22 to 14 AWG. The wire should be made of solid or stranded copper which has a temperature rating of at least 105 degrees Celsius. The insulation on the wire should not exceed 1.2 millimeters in thickness. The insulation stripping length is 12 millimeters with a tolerance of ±1 millimeter. The torque specifications are 0.4 N-m. The 5094-STB shield bar accessory contains 16 screw terminals to extended common/SA and voltage/SA+ devices. The 5094-STB shield bar should only be installed by trained technicians.
