1797-OE8H

The 1797-OE8H module is an output module from the Flex Ex I/O series of modules. It has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The 1797-OE8H output module comes with 8 outputs. It is meant to be mounted on a DIN rail and it can be grounded through the DIN rail. However, this is only possible if the DIN rail is made of zinc-plated yellow chromate steel. All of the outputs on the 1797-OE8H output module are single-ended and they are not isolated from each other. This output module supports RIUP or Removal and Insertion Under Power, but this should only be done in areas that are non-hazardous and even with this feature, it is still recommended to disconnect the backplane power and all connected input and output devices before removing the 1797-OE8H output module.
