The 1753-IB16XOB8 Guard PLC Digital Combo Module is a well-regulated module and configurable into either output or input. It has a 1600 Watt power rating and requires 24 Volts of DC open circuit voltage to operate.  Its operational characteristics are quite different from electrochemical equipment and can be used for a wide variety of solid state equipment. It can connect up to three chassis and includes optional coupling with 30 I/O modules. It comes with a filter circuit that provides total noise reduction, and you can use it to span many applications, from digital process control to high-speed digital. Additionally, it has 1600 Safety Controllers. The 1753-IB16XOB8 comes with DeviceLogix technology and with densities can range between 2 to 8 points powered from the backplane. You can interface up to 63 modules by the communication module for as many as 252 I/O points per network. It can run on varying AC and DC voltage, and DeviceLogix smart technology integrates to support high-performance applications. It also doesn’t need additional configuration while in use, as it delivers high performance and low budget distributed control. This module integrates logic solving capabilities into the most convenient I/O technology.

This unit operates in the Open circuit voltage of 24 Volts DC and has 16 Inputs and 8 Outputs. The module maintains a specific 16-bit accumulator for each input, which makes it easy to use any point as a pulse accumulator. For lower cost distributed control, integrate to the power of the 1753-IB16XOB8 Allen Bradley module. While installing the 1753-IB16XOB8 module, digital outputs are used primarily to sink the current and twisted pair of conductors are used to reduce erroneous transitions in high EMI/ RFI environments. Ensure that separate ground wires are used from the power source ground terminal to the output ground, in order to be able to handle the total load current and reduce chances of erratic system operation.
