The Allen-Bradley 100-E30KJ00 contactor is a 3-pole direct-on-line IEC 100 contactor. Due to its sturdy construction and ability to operate with high currents, the 100-E30KJ00 contactor is particularly suited for demanding applications in an industrial environment. The contactor is compliant with the IEC standards. The 100-E30KJ00 contactor has an electronically controlled standard coil with a coil voltage range of 24 to 60 Volts AC at 50 or 60 Hertz and 20 to 60 Volts DC. The electronic coil has a pick-up current of 50 Volts-Amps, which is significantly lower than the pick-up current ratings of older contactor models. Similarly, the coil has a holding current rating of 2.2 Volts-Amps. The AC-3 operational current rating of the 100-E30KJ00 contactor is 32 Amps at 400 Volts and 50 Amps at 690 Volts. It can switch 15-kilowatt AC motors at 400 Volts and 60 degrees Celsius and 18.5-kilowatt AC motors at 690 Volts and 40 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley 100-E30KJ00 3-pole AC/DC operated direct-on-line contactor from the IEC 100 Contactors series has 3 normally open main contacts and no normally closed main contacts or auxiliary contacts. It includes screw-type connection terminals. The cross-sectional area of the wire for the main contacts is rated between 14 and 8 AWG according to the UL/CSA standards, and the cross-sectional area for the wire is rated between 18 and 14 AWG for the coil and auxiliary contacts. To protect the operator's fingers from electric shock, the terminals come with an enclosure with an IP2X protection class rating. International certifications for the Allen-Bradley 100-E30KJ00 contactor include the CE, UL, EAC, CC, and RCM standards. The operating temperature range for the contactor is from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. As per IEC60947-1, Annex Q standards, this contactor is suitable for use in Category B climatic conditions.
