The 2080-OV4 Micro800 is a Programmable Logic Controller. It has four (4) channels and a 12-pin female terminal block, with a power supply voltage of 10.8 Volts DC at its minimum and 30 Volts DC at its maximum. This 12 to 24 Volt DC Digital Sink Plug-In output module is capable of extending the performance of an I/O without increasing its footprint. It adds processing power to the pre-existing module and brings added communication flexibility. They switch a large variety of DC voltages to be field loads, as well as detecting signals devices in the field.
The 2080-OV4 has a mounting torque around 0.2 N-m (translated to 1.48 pounds on an inch) and a terminal base screw torque between 0.22 and 0.25 N-m (or 1.95 to 2.21 pounds on an inch). It does not require an enclosure (Open Style) and contains a total of four (4) yellow status indicators. The wire used for this module must be kept between 16 and 24 AWG for safety purposes; it must be copper wire, either stranded or solid and must have enough insulation to protect it from temperatures as high as 90 degrees Celsius. The air surrounding the module should not exceed 65 degrees Celsius, again for safety. It has a North American Temperature code of T4.
The 2080-OV4 has a 25 g nonoperating shock; its operating shock is around 25 g for a DIN rail mounted unit and around 35 g for a Panel mounted unit. The ON-State current of the 2080-OV4 at 10 Volts DC is 5.0 mA. Its ON-state voltage is 10 Volts at its lowest, 30 at its highest, and 24 Volts at its nominal stage. This module can be plugged into any of the Micro800 controller plug-in slots. An RS-232 cable may be used to connect a Micro800 controller to a modem, but the length of the cable may be extended to a maximum of 50 feet.
