The Allen-Bradley 2080-OW4I Micro820 20-pt controller is devised specifically for working with smaller microcomputers and a microSD ™ slot for remote automation projects with embedded Ethernet and Serial ports, data logging capability, and recipe management. Micro800 ™ controllers are created for low-cost, stand-alone devices. These low-cost small-size PLCs come in different form factors based on the number of I/O points placed at the base together with some that are specially designed to meet different requirements. The Micro800 family shares a programming environment, accessories, and add-ons that make it possible for machine builders to customize their unique capacities.
The 2080-OW4I has flexible communication and I/O capabilities with up to 5 add-ons. It is shipped as a 10, 16, 24, or 48-point form factor. This guide is intended to help you recognize the correct controller, add-ons, and accessories for your needs. The 2080-OW4I controller has a 1.48 lb-in torque, a category 2 wiring category for both the signal and the power ports, 4 yellow status indicators, and no enclosure. It also features embedded smart relay function blocks which are configurable from a 15-inch LCD screen and its keypad. The function blocks include the Delay OFF/ON Timer, the Time of Day, the Time of Week, and the Time of Year function blocks for applications that require programmable timers and control for the lighting. The user can also program the 2080-OW4I through a program downloaded with the USB programming port and the Connected Components Workbench Software.
