The 2080sc-IF4U module is an analog input module from the 2080 Micro800™ product family by Spectrum Controls. This module is intended to be used with Micro830 and Micro850 programmable logic controllers (PLCs) that are designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This module is capable of replacing multiple analog I/O modules, thus reducing costs and simplifying the system. Due to its plug-in design, the module allows for easy installation and it is much more practical than traditional I/O modules. The 2080sc-IF4U unit provides a great performance-to-price ratio and functionalities that are the same as those of the dedicated analog input modules. This module includes certifications like the CE and UL/cUL (Class I, Div 2, groups ABCD) standards. The 2080sc-IF4U module has 4 universal analog inputs, including thermocouple, current, voltage, and RTD/resistance inputs. The module supports the J, K, T, and E thermocouple types, along with voltages that include ±50 milliVolts, ±100 milliVolts, 0 to 5 Volts, 1 to 5 Volts, 0 to 10 Volts, and ±10 Volts. The supported current ranges are 0 to 20 milliAmps and 4 to 20 milliAmps. The RTD input type supports PT385/3916 and resistance input that includes the following Ohm ranges: 0 to 150, 0 to 1000, and 0 to 3000 Ohms.

The thermal dissipation of the 2080sc-IF4U module is a maximum of 1.2 Watts. The 2080sc-IF4U module has a resolution of 16 bits and 5 filter frequencies.
