The Allen-Bradley 1761-NET-ENI is an Ethernet/IP communication interface. It provides connectivity for CompactLogix, MicroLogix, and SLC 500 devices, as well as other DF1 full-duplex devices. The 1761-NET-ENI has a 100 Base-T Port embedded with LEDs which allow for reliable connection to your network through any standard RJ45 Ethernet cable. These embedded LEDs provide easy-to-view links and transmit/receive statuses. It is equipped with an RS-232 port which provides isolation and will auto-baud on power-up for detecting the communications of the port setting of the controller attached to it. The 1761-NET-ENI is provided with the ability to force Ethernet to 11 Mbps or 100 Mbps and half-duplex or full-duplex where the default us auto negotiable. Configuration over Ethernet can be done with a configuration security mask provision.
