The Allen-Bradley 1763-L16DWD is a MicroLogix 1100 controller that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This controller features a total of Sixteen (16) integrated I/O density. Specifically, the integrated I/Os include Six (6) Standard Discrete inputs operating at 12/24VDC; Four (4) High-speed input channels, which consists of Channels 0-3; Two (2) 0-10VDC analog inputs and Sixteen (16) Relay outputs.

The analog input channels are compatible for use with 2-wire, 3-wire and 4-Wire transmitters. When terminating signals to this module, recommended cable is Belden #8761. This cable is ideal as it is provided with a drain wire and foil shield that may be connected to the grounding system.

For power and input wiring, recommended cable size includes 12 - 20 AWG for Solid wire, and 14 - 20 AWG for Stranded wire. These wire sizes ensure that convenient wiring and termination to terminal blocks without occupying adjacent space.

This controller supports horizontal mounting, using a DIN rail or direct panel mounting. It is designed for expansion using 1762 MicroLogix expansion modules where up to Four (4) expansion modules may be attached.
