1771-HS

The 1771-HS IMC 120 Motion Controller Module by Allen-Bradley is a Servo Controller module which consists of a 32-KB 1771-HM memory cartridge, a maximum of 3 servo controller modules on the I/O chassis, an Encoder module, and a power supply module (1771-PS7). The controller module has a factory pre-installed memory cartridge (1771-HM) connected to the controller module and this provides a storage memory for the whole controller module. The 1771-HS memory cartridge contains a lithium battery back-up with a rating of 3.6V and it also has a 32-KB CMOS Random Access Memory (RAM) for MML program memory. It has 4 LED light indicators (Red and Green) on the front and a power connector on the front-side for connecting to the power supply module (1771-PS7). The 1771-HS is shipped with a power supply module with a power rating of 120V AC at 1A and 220V AC at 2A and it uses a connector cable (1771-CAS) for connecting the power supply module to the power connector on the front-side of the module. The controller module also has an Axis Estop I/O Connector, which is a 50-pin connector for receiving encoder feedback signals, resolver feedback signals, E-stop status, and E-stop starting signals, and it provides fast I/O power. The 1771-HS has a 15-pin AUX FDBK Connector, which receives auxiliary encoder feedback signals, provides the encoder with power, and receives signals from the resolver rotor. The RS-232 connector on the front-side allows for upload and download of MML programs or the AMP parameters and it is used to debug MML programs and hardware using the Hand-Held pendant connected to it. The 1771-HS also comes with sever connector cables for connecting external devices to the controller module.
