The Allen-Bradley 1771-IMD is a digital AC/DC input module. Sixteen inputs are available with this module. It comes with a nominal input voltage of 220V DC and 220V AC at 50-60 Hz and with nominal input currents of 0.6 mA at 220 V DC, 9.9 mA at 220V AC at 50 Hz, and 10.4 mA at 220V AC at 60 Hz. This module also has an on-state voltage range of 184-250V AC and 166-230V DC. Its maximum off-state voltage is 92V AC or DC, the maximum off-state currents are 3 mA at 92V AC, and 0.25 mA at 92V DC, and minimum on-state currents of 0.43 mA at 166V DC and 8.7 mA at 184V AC, 50 Hz. Input signal delay is available with this module. From OFF to ON, it is 15 +/- 8 ms for AC and DC and from ON to OFF, it is 172 +/- 56 ms for AC and DC. The 1771-IMD module has an input impedance of 0.15 µF capacitor (with 21.2K impedance at 50 Hz) in parallel with a 370K resistor and is also in series with 1K Ω. Its backplane current is 250 mA at 5V DC +/- 5%. Power dissipation of this module is a minimum of 1.3 W and a maximum of 5.8 W, while the thermal dissipation is a minimum of 4.5 BTU/hr and a maximum 19.8 BTU/hr.
