The 1771-OGC PLC 5 Transistor-Transistor Logic Output Module by is an output module by Allen-Bradley which has 8 sourcing/sinking outputs and it is installed in any available slot of the 1771 chassis. It has an operational output voltage ranging between 2 and 5.25V DC (High = True), and -0.2V DC and +0.8V DC (Low = True) Logic, and it requires a maximum 20mA (sink)/1mA (source) output current.  The 1771-OGC requires a 5V (+0.25V) DC separate power source with a maximum ripple less than 50mV, peak-to-peak, and 250mA output current for transmission of Transistor-Transistor Logic (TTL) signals. It has 1ms maximum signal delay time in its output, and when operational, it dissipates 7.5 BTU/hr of maximum heat. The 1771-OGC draws an overall backplane current of 168mA and offers 1 second tested 1500V AC circuit voltage isolation. It requires a Field Wiring Arm with a screw torque of 7 x 9 inch-pounds and it circuitry uses a 14-gauge stranded maximum Shielded Belden 8761 wire size with 3/64 inches thick insulation as circuit conductors. Keying of the module is achieved by connection of the top connector between pins 6 – 8 and pins 10 – 12, and is CE, UL, and CSA-certified. The 1771-OGC’s operational temperature ranges between 32 and 140 0F at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity environment and is stored between -40 and 185 0F.
