The 1772-LP2 PLC-2/20 processing unit is a central processing unit that is designed and made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It features 8064 words of memory capacity, 896 maximum I/O, and 120 to 240 Volts AC input voltage. It weighs about 37 pounds. It receives the signals of input modules and transmits the data to the output modules. Slots in the 110 chassis allow for the quick and easy insertion of modules. The operating temperature and relative humidity ratings of the module are 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and 5 to 95%, respectively. The front face of the processor has a 4-position mode select switch and 2 status indicators. The 1772-LP2 PLC-2/20 processing unit has a CMOS read/write memory.
