The Allen-Bradley 1772-LXP is a Mini-PLC-2/16 processor that runs on 120-220V AC switch-selectable power. Its input voltage ranges are 97-132V AC and 194-264V AC. It also has a nominal input power of 96 VA and a frequency of 47-63 Hz, as well as a 4 A output current-to-backplane.
Note that the 1772-LXP processor should not be parallel to a 1771-P5 power supply due to the timing differences in power-up and power-down. You should only use a 1771-P3 or 1771-P4 power supply with a 1771-CT paralleling cable if you need additional power.
The 1772-LXP processor comes with basic and advanced instruction sets. Its basic instructions include a maximum of 488 timers and counters in the processor, program control instructions, relay-like instructions, three-digit math that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and data manipulation and comparison. On the other hand, the advanced instructions have block transfer instructions, jump instructions, subroutine programming, sequencer instructions, bit shift register instructions for bit shifts, data-transfer file instructions, and EAF functions that include FIFO load and unload, 6-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, sine, cosine, binary/BCD conversions, 10x, and square root. This processor also has on-line programming and data change, report generation, data highway interface, and full I/O forcing for 2-slot addressing. The 1772-LXP also has a selectable timed interrupt that enables recurring subroutine.
