The 5250L111 is a PLC-5/250 SYSTEM Pyramid Integrator with an 8-SLOT chassis and 192 K Words, manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The goal of this module is to improve product quality, increase productivity, reduce product’s life cycle investments, and to have timely, plant-wide access to information. This modular PLC system has 8 slots with multifunctional modules to join the worlds of information and control. The system is flexible and expandable; its components have both integrated and stand-alone capabilities. The 5250L111 Pyramid Integrator system has an 8-slot chassis containing a 5/250 series logic processor as its core element; this processor is using a 68020 32-bit microprocessor and provides 192K words memory capacity. A high-speed program logic is executed for less than 1 milliseconds/K. This controller is an addition to a PLC-5 PLC family with an enhanced PLC-5 instruction set.

The 5250L111 system can supervise other controllers, as well as control its own input and output modules. In this way, it can organize and process the information provided by other controllers and then allows network computers to access this data in an instant. For programming and monitoring purpose you can use programming terminals to connect to this PLC-5/250 system or to any other PLC on DH+ link in your network. This system has an operating temperature that fluctuates between 0 and 60 degrees Celsius.
