The 5730-CPU1 is an Integrator that is often used for its stability and saturation. Integrators are used in various areas of control applications, including wave shaping, image blurring, and microwave integrators.
This Integrator Microvax uses a sense of phase contribution offered by 5730-CPU1 integrators. This is similar to the integrator phase response.
However, when using the 5730-CPU1 Integrator, ensure that the wiring is channeled away from high-voltage wires in the enclosure. additionally, the 5730-CPU1 enjoys the ability to power on various switches. On top of that, it runs a current limiting circuitry to avert shorts from spoiling components.
It is evident that safety and reliability are gaining an increased significance in several industrial applications. For this reason, Allen-Bradley integrators strive to provide solutions to increase the reliability and safety of the application.
The 5730-CPU1 uses common terminals as outputs for 5 Volts DC and -14 to 14 Volts DC. When using this type of a device, make sure that the common terminals are not connected together. By using the Analog Input Module, you will be required to connect the two terminals together on the module or use a jumper to connect the two.
This product has a standard power requirement of 120 Volts, 220 Volts or 240 Volts AC. If using the 5730-CPU1 at 220 to 240 Volts, take out the two metal jumpers on the terminals and go on to put the jumpers at the input terminal 220 to 240 Volts.
