About 1745-E107

The Allen-Bradley SLC 1745-E107 expansion unit is compatible with the SLC 150 or 100 processor units for increasing the I/O circuits for a variety of applications. Running on 18-30V AC at 50-60Hz, the 1745-E107 can expand the number of main circuits to a maximum of 112. Assigning addresses to the I/O combinations is easy when you match the address blocks to the SLC 100/150 units with a total of 8 input terminals but no output terminals. There are also 5 diagnostic indicators which are for external/internal warnings in the expansion unit. The expansion unit’s ON status has the green light indicator.



The expansion unit expands the circuitry to yield more outputs simultaneously. There are various indicators for process identification, like the green indicator for DC power and red indicators for inputs and outputs. The installation is easy and maintenance requires little effort. Make sure to include an electrical disconnect in the system to avoid damage from power fluctuations.



The 1745-E107 expansion unit is connected to the main processor unit using a ribbon cable. There are 3 configurations available for this unit and these are the basic unit, the relay, and an analog input unit. There are 10 inputs and 6 outputs in the basic unit while the relay has no inputs and is powered by a voltage range of 170-265V AC. The controller’s temperature is kept in control by ensuring there is proper spacing within the specified limits.
