The module’s nominal output voltages are 120VAC and 240VAC and occupies a single slot of the 1746 chassis.

Each channel of the 1746-OA8 delivers a continuous output current of 1.0 A @ 30 °C (86 °F) or 0.50 A @ 60 °C (140 °F) while the maximum continuous output current per module is 8.0 A @ 30 °C (86 °F) and 4.0 A @ 60 °C (140 °F). Additionally, each channel has an ON signal delay of 1 ms for resistive load and maximum OFF delay signal of 11 ms for resistive load as well.
