The 1747-L30L Series Fixed Hardware Style Controller is a part of the Allen-Bradley PLC SLC 500 series that has a typical scan time of an 8 milliseconds/1K and a program scan hold-up time of 20-700 milliseconds after the loss of power. The power output current of the 1747-L30L controller is 200mA and its power output voltage is 20.4 - 27.6V DC or 24V DC ± 15 %. The 1747-L30L possesses an I/O configuration input of (18) 24V DC sources and an I/O configuration output of (12) DC transistor sinks. The 1747-L30L operates under 21.6-26.4V DC or 24V DC ± 10% power supply and a 120-240V AC line power.

This basic fixed controller consists of a processor with 1K instruction capacities, a power supply, and 30  I/O points, all within a single package. With capacitor-backed RAM as the memory type, the 1747-L30L offers optional battery back-up and memory backup options between EEPROM and UVPROM. It has a 1K instruction capacity of program memory and a nominal input current of 20mA at 24V DC (for input 0 only) or 8mA at 24V DC for all other inputs.

Moreover, the 1747-L30L uses a maximum of #14 AWG wire size and caters I/O electrical-optical isolation of 1500V AC at 1 minute. Operating at an ambient temperature rating of 32-140°F, this PLC module must be stored at the temperature between -40°C and 85°C. The 1747-L30L works with a High-Speed Counter and 24V/200mA power. With an on-state voltage of 10-30V DC and a maximum off-state voltage of 4V DC for input 0 (5V DC for all others), the 1747-L30L has a maximum turn-on time and turn-off time of 8 milliseconds. Please note, transient pulses may develop. To avoid any negative effects, ensure every programmable device attached to the transistor outputs of the 1747-L30L is programmed to overlook all output signals until the ensuing transient pulse has ended.
