The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1747-L30P processor module is a 30-channel processor module that has been designed as part of the Allen-Bradley SLC 500 controllers series. Its 30 input and output channels are AC-powered input and output channels. The 1747-L30P processor module has 12 AC triac outputs and 18 inputs with voltage ratings of 240 Volts AC. This module has 120/240 Volts AC line power but no user power and no high-speed counter devices. The 1747-L30P processor module operates at 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit or 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and it can be stored at -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit or -40 to 85 degrees Celsius.

The Allen-Bradley 1747-L30P is a part of the PLC SLC 500 Series of Fixed Hardware Style Controllers that has a typical scan time of an 8 milliseconds/1K and a program scan hold-up time of 20-700 milliseconds after the loss of power. The 1747-L30P possesses an I/O configuration input of (18) 240V AC and an I/O configuration output of (12) AC Triacs for 30 total I/O points. The 1747-L30P can handle 0.35 watts per point with a minimum of 10.5 watts and a maximum of 23.0 watts. The 1747-L30P operates under a power supply ranging from 85-265V AC at 47-63 Hz and it has a 120-240V AC line power.

This fixed Allen-Bradley controller consists of a processor with 1,024 (1K) instruction capacities, a power supply, and 30 total I/O within a single package. With capacitor-backed RAM as its memory type, the 1747-L30P offers optional battery back-up and EEPROM and UVPROM memory backup options. It has a 1K instruction capacity of a program memory, a nominal input current of 12mA, and a 1.6A peak inrush current. Moreover, the 1747-L30P uses a #14 AWG wire size and caters an I/O electrical-optical isolation of 150V AC at 1 minute. Operating at an ambient temperature of 0-60°C or 32-140°F, this PLC module must be stored at the temperature of -40-85°C. With an on-state voltage from 170V up to 265V AC and a maximum off-state voltage of 50V AC, the 1747-L30P has a maximum turn-on time and turn-off time of 8 milliseconds. As a standard, all of the SLC 500 processors both fixed and modular communicate over the DH-485 protocol. The 1747-L30P can be programmed using the 1747-PT1 handheld programmer.
