The 1747-L40E processor is a controller and processor module which has been designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation for applications in the SLC 500 series. It is a 40-channel processor module that includes 24 inputs and 16 outputs. The 24 inputs are sink inputs rated at 24 Volts DC and the 16 outputs are DC transistor source outputs. The 1747-L40E processor module is one of the few SLC 500 series processor modules that has transistor outputs, and it has a high-speed counter feature. It supports Wattage ratings of 0.2 Watts per I/O point, 16 Watts minimum, and 27 Watts maximum.
