The Allen-Bradley 1747-PT1 SLC 500 Hand Held Terminal is a handheld terminal which allows easy configuration of the SLC 500, SLC 5/01, and SLC 5/02 controllers. It is also used for downloading and uploading programs, monitoring and troubleshooting the controller’s status, and for entering and modifying user’s program. The 1747-PT1 is also a standalone terminal which provides remote programming with the 1747–NP1 or the NP2 power supply or it can be used as a point-to-point communication device (a single HHT to a controller). It has a super–twist nematic Liquid Crystal Display with 8 lines of 40 characters each for easy interface and display of the controller’s functions, and a 30-key keyboard for programming, entering, and modifying of users’ programs. The 1747-PT1 comes with a 1747–BA battery which supports a 2-year user memory retention capacity and it has a base DH-485 communication port for wider communication capability. It has an operational electrical rating of 0.105Amps at 24V DC and it is compatible with the Fixed SLC 5/01, SLC 5/02. The 1747-PT1 has an operational temperature range between 0 and 40 °C (32° and 104 °F) at 5-95% non-condensing relative humidity, and it is UL-listed and CSA-approved. It weighs approximately 0.74kg (1.0lb) and has dimensions of 7.9in x 7.6in x 2.0in.
