The MVI46-ADM from the Allen Bradley SLC 500 series functions as an application development module tailored for specific programming needs. This versatile device supports programming and operates seamlessly with a 16-bit DOS compiler. On the hardware side, it is equipped with three distinct serial ports, enabling multiple device connections.

A robust design includes LED indicators that provide instant feedback on the module's operational status. The backplane current draw is set at 800 mA when powered at 5 volts, ensuring reliable performance during various applications.

In terms of durability, the MVI46-ADM can withstand operational shocks of up to 30g and 50g when not operational, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
