The MVI46-PDPS is a networking module manufactured by ProSoft. It is a single-slot device which is compatible with the SLC chassis. The module comes with a backplane current load of 800 milliamps for a 5.1 Volts DC supply. It is compatible with the Rockwell Automation M0/M1 processors. It comes with an operational shock rating of 30 g and a non-operational one of 50 g. The device has a running temperature in the range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. The device should be kept in a humid environment without condensation. This module comes with different standards and certifications like the RoHS/CE, GOST-R, and the UL standards. The MVI46-PDPS uses Ladder Logic for data transfers. The device comes with both input and output data with a maximum data rate of 244 bytes. It has a baud rate in the range of 9.6 Kilobits to 12 Megabits.

The MVI46-PDPS comes with LED indicators on the front to display different information regarding the status of the module, the transfer status of the backplane, the application status, the serial activity, and the error LED status. This module is also known as an I/O module which can access the memory of the processor to the transmit data between the module and the processor by using the m0/m1 files.
