The Versaview CE displays are operating and display devices from Allen-Bradley. These display devices run with the Windows operating system. The displays are available in color display module with keypads, touchscreens, or keypads with touchscreen support. It is available in 7, 10, 12 and 15 inches size with color TFT screen. All of these resistive touchscreens are backed with a 650 MHz Celeron processor. These display panels have field-replaceable bezels. By using modular communication for easy addon capabilities, these displays offer maximum flexibility and efficiency. The Versaview CE displays are equipped with memory expansion modules for field upgrades of up to 256 MB of RAM and 512 MB of compact flash memory. It is equipped with a Compact flash card slot which supports the Type I compact flash cards. Also, it comes with USB ports for connections (for a keyboard, mouse, and printer). The display panel supports both Ethernet and serial communications.
The Versaview CE displays are manufactured by using modular components which makes them very easy to use in terms of configuration, installation, and upgrades. All of the components are available separately which makes replacement easy. The displays run with a voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC. They use the serial RS-232 port for file transfers and logic controller communication. The front of the displays houses the screens along with the keypads. The keypads come with different keys (navigational, numerical, programmable function, and control keys). The functional keys are used as shortcuts to access commonly used functions. The Versaview CE displays are available both with logic modules (128 MB and 256 MB) and without logic modules. Some of the VersaView series displays come with protective antiglare overlays. These displays are suitable for both hazardous and non-hazardous locations.
