The 2706-P44C terminal is a message display terminal by Allen-Bradley which is used in factories to display safety messages and application messages across the factory floor. It has a tri-color LCD screen with dimensions of 183 x 12.2 centimeters (72 x 4.8 inches) and a display resolution of 240 x 16 pixels, with 7.62 millimeters (0.3 inches) of pixel distance. Characters on the 2 lines of the display will remain visible even at a distance of up to 60 meters (200 feet) away. The 2 display lines have a maximum of 24 standard ASCII characters and 40 extended ASCII characters each.
External peripheral devices like keyboards and printers are also able to be connected by using the RS-232 port. A communication module can also be attached for enhanced network capability. The 2706-P44C terminal has a back-mounted power supply module with an input range of 100 to 240 Volts AC at 50 to 60 Hertz. It cUL-UL-us and CE certified and it has a NEMA Type 12 enclosure rating.
