The Allen-Bradley 2707-MVP232 is a MicroView operator interface module. This module is an ideal partner of MicroLogix controllers that allows operator to locally monitor the process and manipulate data that is stored with the hos controller’s memory. This controller supports creation of up to 50 screen as well as upload , download and initiate recipe operations.

This interface module provides visualization via the LCD screen that display 2 lines of information with each line supporting up to 16 characters. The character size is 0.22 x 0.12 in (5.56 x 2.96 mm) and the character format is 5 x 7 dot matrix. It has a Yellow-green LED, fixed intensity and fixed contrast backlight with viewing are of 0.58 x 2.35 in (15mm x 60 mm) and viewing angle of Horizontal ± 30°, Vertical –20° to +30°.

Operator interaction is initiated via the Tactile embossed, domed keys, sealed membrane with actuating force of 16 oz. (453 grams) and expected operational life of 1 million operations. The keypad is composed of F1 and F2 function keys, numeric and navigation keys as well as confirmation buttons. This operator interface module comes with a power input terminal and supplied with the appropriate adapter. It requires an input supply voltage of 11-25VDC, 1.5 Watts. The embedded communication port is an RS232 8-pin mini-DIN circular port that is used to establish point to point connection between MicroLogix and Compatible programming workstation. For communication distance, the applicable maximum distance is 50 ft or 15 meters. Longer distance requires lower baud rate or transfer speed which affects the data exchange. An enclosure is not required when using the 2707-MVP232 display. The Allen Bradley MicroView 2707-MVP232 contains a nonvolatile memory that is used to store Configurations Information and up to 50 user programmable application screens.
