The Allen-Bradley 2707-V40P2R DTAM Plus operator interface terminal is an operator interface terminal designed to provide a high performance interface solution for the Allen-Bradley PLC and SLC processors. This device provides operators with a graphical display interface for the control, monitoring, and manipulation of operation data. The 2707-V40P2R terminal has a non-removable power terminal and it requires 85 to 265 Volts AC input voltage or 110 to 300 Volts DC voltage for operation. The device offers a 4-line by 20-character Vacuum Fluorescent Display (VFD) with fixed contrast and user-adjustable screen brightness options. The 2707-V40P2R terminal display offers a maximum viewing distance 7.6 meters, and a display area of 33 x 99 millimeters. It comes with 24 stainless steel domed tactile feedback keys that can be operated by hand only, and they are color-coded for easy identification. It also has a 6-position DIP switch that allows the operators to enable and disable certain device functions.

The 2707-V40P2R terminal has 3 front-panel LED indicators that show the device status, alarm condition, and keypad status. The 2707-V40P2R is configured by using the VFD screen and tactile feedback keys. The 2707-V40P2R terminal comes with a 40-Kiloword memory that is designed for NEMA 4X, 12, and 13 rated enclosures. It has a net shipping weight of 0.95 kilograms, and it is UL, CE, and CSA certified.
