The Allen-Bradley 2711-K10C3 is part of the PanelView 1000 Series of HMI operator panels. It is engineered to provide an interface for machinery. The 2711-K10C3 comes with a 10.1-inch multi-color display, a keypad, a DH-485 communication port, and an RS-232 printer port. Each 2711-K10C3 module comes with a durable 4X enclosure or NEMA Type 12/13 and the part runs on 85 to 264 Volts AC input power. The files, data, and applications can be stored in the 256 KB memory. Like other color terminals, the 2711-K10C3 can support fixed palettes of 32 standard EGA colors.

The 2711-K10C3 terminals are designed to be safe for installation in a NEMA Type 12/13 or NEMA 4X rated enclosure. Always use SELV power supplies as the main source for the PanelView 1000 terminals. After installation, use the manual for the configuration of the terminal, printer setup, and adding the memory card. The ASCII scratchpad is available with a keyboard in four different languages: Spanish, French, Italian, and German. While installing and mounting the 2711-K10C3, allow proper space for airflow, mounting, maintenance, and installing the memory card.

The 2711-K10C3 boasts of a rugged, scalable hardware. The components installed to this PanelView terminal are engineered to operate at an extended period. It is designed for installation in most applications in different industries, providing real-time interface to the process or machine.

The 2711-K10C3 features a 10-inches, colored display screen. It has an effective display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The terminal communicate with partner controllers and compatible devices via the DH485 communication interface which support multi-node communication. Additionally, the secondary RS232 port is specifically installed for interfacing with alarm printers for printing and logging of alarm lists, alarm and system messages.

The 2711-K10C comes with a field replaceable backlight with a lifespan of 50,000 hr. 1/2 life at 25 °C (77 °F). An external power supply with an output voltage range of 85-264VAC, with a frequency of 47-63 Hz. Is required to power-up the device.

The 2711-K10C3 has a keypad assembly that provides operator control interface. It is composed of Sixteen (16) assignable function keys (F1 to F16), numeric, and navigation keys. Each of the keys are designed up to 1 million presses.
