The 2711-K10G20 PanelView Standard 1000 Operator Interface Terminal by Allen-Bradley provides a graphic display of machines functions and of application parameters. It is used in many automation applications. The 2711-K10G20 requires an AC input power supply with a supply range of 85 to 264 Volts AC at 47 to 63 Hertz and a supply power of 55 Volts AC maximum. Users can input and control the machine functions through the stainless steel domed membrane, and the functional and navigational keys with an actuation of about 1 million presses. The 2711-K10G20 Panelview 1000 features pixel graphics capabilities with a greyscale monochromatic display and an operator input keypad with 16 function keys (F1 to F16), an 8.3in x 6.2in. display dimension, and a 640 x 480 display resolution. The 2711-K10G20 offers a backlight that has a 50,000-hour half-life at 77 degrees Fahrenheit and a battery-backed internal clock with real-time stamps for critical data. It comes with a 1008 KB user storage memory with a 310 KB application runtime memory and it supports the use of an ATA memory card. It has a factory-designated operating temperature range of 32-131 degrees Fahrenheit at 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity. It has a storage temperature of -4 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The 2711-K10G20 is built to withstand a 30G operating shock and 2G vibration. The device is enclosed in a NEMA 12, 13, and 4X, and IP65-rated enclosure, and it weighs 7.2 pounds, with dimensions of 11.11 inches x 16.64 inches x 4.4 inches.

To view the published graphics to the operator terminal, the 2711-K10G20 is equipped with a field replaceable backlight with a half-life of 50,000 hours when operated at 25 degrees Celsius or 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Plant personnel can introduce control, navigation and other similar commands via the embedded stainless-steel domed membrane which is composed of sixteen (16) functions, assignable to a variety of local and global functions as well as numeric and navigation keys.

For communication, the 2711-K10G20 has an Ethernet and RS-232 interface. The Ethernet interface is mainly used for industrial communication, supporting Ethernet I/P protocol at transmission speeds of 10/100 Mbps. The secondary port which is the RS-232 printer port is dedicated for printing of alarms and events for historization and archive. This operator terminal is equipped with 310 KB RAM memory and 1008 KB non-volatile memory.
