The 2711-TC1 is an Allen-Bradley PanelView graphic operator terminal. Specifically, this catalog number dis part of the PanelView 1200 operator terminal which is designed to provide a convenient method of operating a machine or process, which may be used for migrating from traditional relay based control systems.

The 2711-TC1 is an operator terminal which is designed to be installed in a 19”rack or flush mounted to an enclosure cut-out.

The 2711-TC1 features a 12-inch colored display screen with front panel window made of Continuous water-clear polyester over chemically strengthened glass. It has 24 Rows x 80 Columns (normal size characters) with an adjustable display intensity and programmable screen saver.

The touch membrane which activates the touch input interface is composed of Water-clear, hardcoated, scratch-resistant polyester, over chemically strengthened glass, designed to be applied with an actuation force of 2.5 to 3 oz (71 to 85 grams).

The 2711-TC1 comes with an embedded Remote I/O communication interface, supporting the legacy systems such as PLC5 and SLC500 controllers. With remote I/O, communication over-long distances is supported, which is directly affected by the transmission speed. For 10,000 ft., supported transmission speed if 57.6 kilobaud; For 5,000 ft. supported speed id 115.2 kilobaud and 2,500 ft. at 230.4 kilobaud.
