The 2711-K5A8L1 terminal is a PanelView 550 monochrome terminal designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. For communication purposes, the terminal supports the DH+ network. In addition, the 2711-K5A8L1 terminal features a keypad which acts as an interface with the operators. Being a PanelView terminal, this terminal has standard features such as pixel graphics capabilities. Additionally, the 2711-K5A8L1 terminal, as part of the PanelView standard terminal series, includes analog gauge screen security, alarm handling, universal language support, and an ATA memory card, among others. The operating temperature of the 2711-K5A8L1 is 0-55 Degrees Celsius while the storage temperature is -20 degrees +70 degrees Celsius.

It is also compatible for multiple node communication as DH+ protocol is an RS485 based communication protocol. The 2711-K5A5 is equipped with a 5.5-inch monochrome screen, with resolution of 256 x 128 pixels. This display screen is ideal for implementation of simple monitoring and user interface, typically for simple machines or processes.

Additionally, the embedded keypad assembly composed of configurable function keys, navigation and numeric keys enables the operator to efficiently monitor and operate the system. This function keys may be installed function key legend inserts to provide button labels to minimize operator errors.

It allows offline configuration and built with libraries that enable any user to design an accurate depiction of the process. It is also provided with multiple language support for language switching.

Install the 2711-K5A8L1 flush mounted to an enclosure rated NEMA Type 12/13, 4X (Indoor use only), IP54 and IP65. Follow the recommended panel cut-out and observe the minimum mounting clearance of 2 inches on all sides of the HMI to ensure adequate air flow.
