The Allen-Bradley 2715-T15CA is a PanelView 5500 Terminal with a modern and easy-to-use interface that allows operators to monitor and control devices attached to Logix 5570 and L1, L2 and L3 controllers through EtherNet/IP communications. To view the status of a process or machine, the operators use animated graphical and text displays. The 2715-T15CA helps to build high-speed Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) for modern applications in the health industry.
The 2715-T15CA terminal has a 15-in. color LCD screen with a resistive touchscreen and navigation buttons. It has an 18-bit graphics display with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a 1024 x 768 resolution. It weighs 9.13 lbs. and has dimensions of 12.95 x 19.06 x 2.74 in. For data storage, it has 512 MB of RAM and requires 100-240V AC input voltage. The 2715-T15CA uses Studio 5000 Environment software which provides a single portal to the View Designer and Logix Designer applications. For installation, it is panel-mounted with an IP, UL Type, or NEMA-rated enclosure.
The 2715-T15CA terminal contains two high-speed USB 2.0 ports and one SD card slot for safe external data storage. It has less than 100 milliseconds of response time and its tap and drag touch gestures facilitate interactive screen elements. Fifty user-defined screens and 500 Logix-based alarms are supported by it. The Ethernet communication port supports DLR, star, and linear network topologies. Its tightly integrated design and control environment allow information to be shared between Logix platforms and the 2715-T15CA terminal. It also has red and green LED indicators for fault diagnostics.
