The 2715-T7CA interface terminal is a basic operator interface terminal from the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation Panelview 5500 series. The 2715-T7CA operator interface terminal�s control options are a menu navigation button and a touchscreen with color graphics. The Allen-Bradley 2715-T7CA PanelView 5500 is an operator interface which uses navigational keys and a touchscreen display for managing machine status. Users can enter application commands and view the machine status graphically through the terminal’s 18-bit color thin-film transistor LCD 6.5-inch touchscreen which has an antiglare and analog resistive surface. The 2715-T7CA PanelView 5500 touchscreen has a display dimension of 5.2in x 3.9in and a 640 x 480 VGA resolution with a luminance of 300 cd/m2 (Nits). The touchscreen surface has an actuation rating of 1 million presses and will sustain an operational force of up to 100G. The 2715-T7CA has a non-replaceable LED backlight that has a standby time of 50,000hrs and a power consumption of 3W. The 2715-T7CA uses a 250-MB internal memory for storing user settings and parameters and a 512-MB RAM for application processes. It has an SD card slot and a USB 2.0 port for an external memory device and for linking to peripheral devices. The 2715-T7CA has a battery-backed internal real-time clock with +/-2 minutes per month of real-time accuracy, and a lithium cell battery with a 4-year lifespan.
