The 2715-T9WA PanelView 5500 Human Machine Interface (HMI) by Allen-Bradley provides interface through its navigational buttons and analog resistive touchscreen. Users can set the data and application parameters with it and monitor the machine mode via the thin-film transistor, 18-bit color depth, LCD screen with a 9-inch wide display. The 2715-T9WA touchscreen’s display dimension is 7.7 x 4.6 in., and a display resolution 800 x 480 WVGA with a 5:3 aspect ratio and a brightness of 300 cd/m2 (Nits). It also has an antiglare surface with an actuation rating of 1-million presses and 100G operational force. The touchscreen also has an LED backlight with a 50,000-hour standby time and a 3.5W power rating. The 2715-T9WA has with a battery-backed clock with a real-time accuracy of +/-2 minutes per month, and a 4-year lifespan lithium battery. It stores the user’s application parameters and default settings in the built-in 250MB storage memory and it uses the 512MB RAM for real-time application processes. The 2715-T9WA supports an SD card slot for external memory capability and uses the USB 2.0 port for connecting external devices. Its operating temperature limit of 55 °C (131 °F), and a relative humidity between 5 and 95%. The 2715-T9WA has an input voltage range between 100 and 240V AC and a maximum power rating of 105VA through a 50A surge current at 50-60Hz.
