The 2715P-B15CD-B terminal is a 15-inch operator terminal that has been designed to provide a visualization of an application process to the users and operators. This terminal has been developed and produced by Allen-Bradley. This terminal comes with different means that can be used to control it such as a touchscreen, an HMI key, and different numerical and function keys that work as a keypad. The Allen-Bradley 2715P-B15CD-B 15-inches operator terminal has a display resolution and an aspect ratio of 1024 x 768 XGA and 4:3, respectively. It has a screen area with dimensions of 304 millimeters x 228 millimeters. The display screen is composed of a thin-film transistor and a liquid-crystal display.

The Allen-Bradley 2715P-B15CD-B 15-inches operator terminal has a battery and a real-time clock backup that has an accuracy of +/- 2 minutes per month and a battery life of approximately 4 years if it is operating at a steady temperature of 25 degrees Celsius. The battery can be replaced with a CR2032 lithium coil cell. The backlight consists of a light-emitting diode and it is a non-replaceable part that has an approximate lifespan of 50,000 hours at a steady temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. This backlight has a power consumption rating of 8.5 Watts. Both of these programs enable the users to create different applications for the terminal and to re-use these applications on different Logix platforms. This terminal can transfer data through the Ethernet network. It has a RAM capacity of 1 Gigabyte and non-volatile memory capacity of 1 Gigabyte also. The maximum operating temperature of the terminal goes from 0 to 55 degrees Celsius. The ideal operating altitude goes from sea level and to 2000 meters above sea level.
