The Allen-Bradley 2711C-F2M is a PanelView C200 component. This operator terminal is a low-cost Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that is ideal for use in simple and small industrial application for controlling machines or processes. This device is a 2-inch screen HMI with an integrated development environment residing within its memory.

The 2711C-F2M is a operated, through the embedded keypad which is made of Four function keys (F1…F4) Up, down, left, right and Enter keys. The 2-inch screen is of Monochrome transflective STN passive matrix type with viewing area of 49 x 14 mm (1.93 x 0.55 in.) and resolution of 122 x 32. It has a non-replaceable backlight designed for continuous operation which may be operated up to 50,000 hours.

It is equipped with a variety of serial interfaces such as Two (2) RS232 communication ports that is compatible with DH485 and DF1 protocol and an RS485 communication port for multi-node communication through daisy-chain architecture.

The 2711C-F2 is ideally used with Allen-Bradley controllers specifically, MicroLogix, SLC500 and Micro800 product families. The embedded USB port also functions as the download port and permits connection of external input and output device such as keyboard or mouse, increasing operation convenience and flexibility.

Compatible terminal installation is via flush mounting to a NEMA / UL Type 4X (indoor) 12, 13, and IEC IP54, IP65 rated enclosures.

The panel installation and maintenance can be made easy with the quick-lever clips and mounting clamps. The C200 terminal’s easy interface through 2711C-F2M lets you design your own application with various indicators such as Green/Yellow for process identification. It is enclosed within a NEMA/UL Type 4X (indoor) 12, 13, and IEC IP54, IP65 with temperatures withstanding up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit.

The 2711C-F2M has input voltage from 18 Volts DC to 30 Volts DC. Be sure to never connect commons together as this will harm the device. It has a power consumption of 5 Watts, and certified as cULus Listed, CE marked, and C-Tick. The operator input has a total of 4 functional keys (Up, Down, Left, Right, and Enter) with 9 pin D-shell and RS 422/RS485 as connector communication ports. You can change the language of the terminal for configuration or diagnostic messages accordingly. MicroLogix, SLC, and Micro800 are the preferred controllers which are widely used with this terminal.
