The 2711P-B15C4A1 is a PanelView 1000 operator terminal that is manufacture by Allen-Bradley. This electronic device has a compact and scalable assembly, allowing operator to monitor and control the connected machine in real-time.

The 2711P-B15C4A1 comes with a 10.4-inches colored graphic screen with display area of 211 x 158 mm (8.3 x 6.2 in.) and pixel resolution of 640 x 480. It is installed with an internal backlight that is estimated to operate at a minimum of 50,000 hours.

The 2711P-B15C4A1 has a dual interface capability. This operator terminal may be operated using the embedded keypad that is composed of Function, numeric and navigation keys. These keys are designed to be operated up to 1 million presses via an actuation force of 340 g. The other input method is via the analog resistive Touch sensitive screen. Similarly, the expected actuation life of the touch screen interface is 1 million actuations with a slightly lower recommended actuation force of 10…110 g.

The 2711P-B15C4A1 comes with a variety of communication ports such as ControlNet, Ethernet and RS232 interfaces. These communication ports functions independently and may be operated individually and communication with different devices simultaneously.

The 2711P-B15C4A1 achieves IP54, IP65, NEMA 4X protection rating when installed to an enclosure of equivalent rating. This operator terminal is installed surface mounted to the enclosure in horizontal orientation. Required panel cutout is 224 (8.8) (H) x 375 (14.75) (W).

This HMI has an internal 32 MB flash memory and runtime memory of 64 Random Access Memory.

This unit has an internal backlight replacement part number of 2711P-RL10C. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 10 lbs. and 18 x 14 x 8 in. The ControlNet terminals are able to connect to single or multiple controllers on a unique ControlNet network. They support both scheduled and unscheduled access to controller data, as well as support for redundant cabling. The ControlNet terminals support symbolic CIP addressing when communicating with a ControlLogix system. Every terminal offers a Network Access port for local access to the ControlNet network.
