The Allen-Bradley display module with catalog number 2711P-RDK10C is a PanelView Plus 1000 and PanelView Plus 6 1000 operator terminals. The 2711P-RDK10C is a replacement module for the existing display module of PanelView Plus Human Machine Interface (HMI) device. It is responsible for displaying the runtime interface of process, allowing operators to view the status of the process and implement control actions accordingly.

This display module has a screen size of 10.4-inches with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a display area of 211 x 158 millimeters (8.3 x 6.2 inches). It may only be used with keypad operated terminals as it is not equipped with touch sensitive cells. This display module has adjustable contrast and brightness settings which are accessible via the terminal configuration environment.

For installation, the 2711P-RDK10C is inserted by removing first the existing display module. Once the existing module is installed, the replacement 2711P-RDK10C is installed. The entire replacement procedure must be done without power applied to the operator terminal otherwise, electric shock and module damage is likely to be experienced. Furthermore, the personnel in-charge of installation must touch a grounded object prior to touching the display module and the operator terminal as well as work in a flat surface that is appropriately grounded.
