It has an Ethernet I/P interface which is an open industrial network that supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. The Ethernet port connects to a controller on an EtherNet/IP network by using both the network and standard Ethernet connections. This port can work with application transfers and printing as well. The EtherNet/IP screen displays and allows the user to modify some of the EtherNet/IP communication settings for a PanelView terminal. If another port is required, the 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for the 700 to 1500 Panelview Plus terminals. Each module has a specific and unique IP address. This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and enables MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters can be downloaded with the application.
The runtime environment utilizes the 64 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) while HMI application files are stored to the 64 MB non-volatile memory.
The 2711P-T10C4B1’s Ethernet interface supports 10/100 Mbps communication speed with auto-negotiation capability. This ethernet port supports linear topology and capable of communicating with one or more partner devices. The RS232 interface is a 9-Pin Sub-D connector and supports DF1 protocol, ideal for point-to-point connection only. The Two (2) USB interface allows connection of external input devices such as keyboard and mouse as well as USB storage devices. This operator terminal is powered using 10-32VDC power supply voltage.
