The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B12C4D6 is a Panelview Plus CE 1250 touchscreen/keypad 12-inch color operator interface device. It comes with standard communication options - Ethernet and RS-232 ports, and two USB ports. This is a DC-powered device and it has a CE Logic Module with 128 MB of RAM and with another 128 MB of flash memory. The Allen-Bradley 2711P-B12C4D6 features an analog resistive type of display with a 246 millimeters x 184 millimeters (9.7 inches x 7.2 inches) sized display area. It has 800 x 600 graphics resolution. Users can input their commands over the touchscreen or over the 40 keypad function keys denoted with “F” and “K” letters. It is up to the programmer to determine the functions for these keys. There are editable labels available for these function keys. There is an add-on to be installed if users want to inspect their HMI applications over the internet.

The 2711P-B12C4D6 will spend up to 70 Watts of energy when connected to a 24 Volts DC supply. The device weighs 3.4 kilograms (7.6 pounds) and its enclosure has dimensions of 416 millimeters x 282 millimeters x 55 millimeters (16.36 inches x 11.12 inches x 2.18 inches).
