The 2711P-K12C15D1 is a PanelView device that is manufactured by Allen Bradley. This module belongs to the PanelView 1250 series and is useful to monitor and control the module’s status information. The 2711P-K12C15D1 is a PanelView plus terminal that has been converted to the New generation PanelView Plus 6 series with the catalog number 2711P-K12C4D8, however, these two catalog number can still be used interchangeably, although there are some pronounced differences between the new version and the legacy version of this PanelView device. It has a keypad input method and a full-color display screen of 12.1 inches. It runs on DC power and requires a DC input of 18- to 32 Volts. The 2711P-K12C15D1 now has a 512 MB RAM, upgraded from the previous 256 MB. It now has a 512 MB internal nonvolatile memory (approximately 79MB free user memory), up from the former 256 MB of the previous PanelView plus terminal. The 2711P-K12C15D1 has communication ports for Ethernet, RS-232, and USB Hosts (2.0). It also has one secure Digital High capacity slot that supports 1784-SDx, which was absent in the former version. The “.NET” Compact Framework has version 3.5 installed, an update of version 1.1, which was not present in the previous version.
