The PanelView Plus Terminal, 2711P-K12C6B1, is a member of the Allen-Bradley operator interface terminal family. As a member of the Panelview Plus 1250 Series, this terminal has three modular parts including a display module, a logic module, and a communications module. This display module has a resistive 12.1” TFT color display and a keypad that is protected from the sun, other light, and harsh conditions/environments. It also has two sets of twenty keys that can be programmed for assorted functions on this terminal, as well as a numeric keypad and navigational keys, which assist in programming this terminal and displaying its parameters. The logic module in the 2711P-K12C6B1 has a 64MB memory as well as a serial RS-232 port, an SDRAM, a battery-back real clock, a flash memory, 2 USB ports, a CompactFlash Card Slot 9 Type 1, and 10/100 Base-T Ethernet port. The RAM memory and CompactFlash can be upgraded to other sizes.

The communication module on the 2711P-K12C6B1, (which is installed on the back of the logic module) allows communication to DH+, RS-232, DH-485, Ethernet, and RIO. It can be powered either by 24 Volts DC or 85 to 264 Volt AC inputs. Users and operators of the 2711P-K12C6B1 can monitor and control running applications via this terminal.
