The Allen-Bradley accessory with catalog number 2711P-RDK12C is display module used with PanelView Plus 1250 and PanelView Plus 6 1250 Keypad operator terminals. This display module is a replacement unit for the pre-installed display component that comes along with every operator terminal.

This display terminal has a display screen size of 12.1-inch, colored screen that is capable of displaying process mimic with color schemed static designs and animation. This display module has a resolution of 800 x 600 pixels with effective display area of 246 x 184 mm (9.69 x 7.25 in).

PanelView Plus 1250 and PanelView Plus 6 1250 operator terminals’ display modules are designed to operate at a long period of time. However, malfunctions caused by improper operation may render the existing display module defective. To prevent repeated replacement of display module, it is recommended to install protection film onto to the display module. Additionally, Human Machine Interface (HMI) window kits may also be used to protect the entire hardware. Window kits prevents objects from hitting the display module as well as prohibits unwanted or unauthorized access to the operator terminal.

Actuate the keypad assembly with an actuating force not greater than 340 g. It is recommended to use a gloved finger however, due to unavoidable industrial situations, actuate the buttons using a finger that is free of contaminants.

Typical contaminants that may affect the operation of this display module includes dust, dirt, powdered ingredients, oil, paint, chemicals and water. These contaminants may stick onto the display module and disrupt operation. The display module may be maintained by wiping with a soft cloth, slightly wetted with water or isopropyl alcohol.
