About Panelview Plus 1250

Manufactured by Allen-Bradley, the PV Plus 1250 series is a series of controller and display terminals that feature internal CompactFlash Cards with firmware or operating systems and RAM. The PV Plus 1250 terminals feature the TFT color graphics displays that are programmed with a keypad, touchscreen, or a combination of both input types. The Allen-Bradley PV Plus 1250 terminals come with common features and firmware for providing easy unit migration to the larger displays. The units feature up to 8-wire resistive touchscreens with a high level of accuracy for the operator interfaces. Whenever a point on the touchscreen is pressed, the layers connect, changing the electrical current. The PV Plus 1250 units come with analog-resistive touchscreens and this applies to the touchscreen-only terminals or the combined keypad/touchscreen terminals.

The PV Plus 1250 terminal keypads feature function keys that are used for initiating the functions on the terminals’ displays. The units feature 12.1-inch display screens with color graphics support. They come with the Ethernet ports for controller communication. The devices feature status indicators that are used for monitoring the functionality of these devices. The terminals have the default switches that are used for performing operations like restoring the units to their factory default settings. The reset switches are used for resetting the terminals without the need for powering the devices on and off. The PV Plus 1250 terminals feature modular components that consist of a display module, a logic module, and an optional communication module. These components feature a flexible configuration and they are easy to install and upgrade.
