The Allen-Bradley 2711P-K4M5A PanelView Plus 400 Standard Terminal is a Human Machine Interface device in the Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus Series of operator interface devices, which provides users with interfaces to their machinery for maintenance and control. The 2711P-K4M5A comes with base-configured modules, AC power supply module, field replaceable display module, integral communication ports with supports for additional communication modules, and it has a compact design which allows for easy configuration and setup. It provides graphical visualization of the machine operations using it 3.8-inch wide passive matrix grayscale graphics display, with film compensated super-twist nematic (FSTN), and a with a display area of 3.0 x 2.3 inches and a resolution of 320 x 240 pixel. It also offers a field-replaceable LED backlight with 120 cd/m2 (Nits) of display brightness and with 50,000 hours of life expectancy.

The 2711P-K4M5A has a display module with keypad support and its keypad has 8 (F1 through F8) programming function keys, 10 alphanumeric keys (0 to 9), and several navigational keys. It has a base-configured RS-232 serial communication port for file transfers, printing, and logic controller communications, and 1 USB 2.0 port for attaching a mouse, keyboard, or printer to the device. The 2711P-K4M5A also has a base-configured AC power unit with 85 to 264 Volts AC input voltage range (120 Volts AC nominal) at 47 to 63 Hertz and a maximum power consumption of 60VA at 120 Volts AC.
