The 2711P- T15C22D8S is a PanelView Plus 7 Standard operator terminal from Allen-Bradley. This operator interface is also referred to as Human Machine Interface (HMI) device that features 15-inch, colored TFT LCD screen, embedded analog resistive touchscreen input and dual Ethernet communication port.

The 2711P- T15C22D8S is a cost-effective solution for implementing real-time process and machine visualization and control in the factory-floor area of the plant. It is equipped with modern capabilities that help meet today’s plant automation and connectivity demands. This device is carries certifications from IECEx, CCC Ex, cULus, ATEX, INMETRO, CE (EMC), CE (LVD), RCM, EAC, RoHS and KCC. It is installed to an enclosure rated NEMA and UL Type 12, 13, 4X (indoor use only), also rated IP54 or IP66 as Classified by UL.

Application is downloaded and executed by the operator terminal via the pre-activated runtime environment of FTView Machine Edition.

The 2711P- T15C22D8S has embedded internal memory amounting to 512 MB Random Access Memory (RAM), 512 MB Storage and 80 MB non-volatile user memory. It also uses a CR2032 lithium coin cell battery for the built-in Real-Time clock. This battery has +/-+/-2 minutes per month accuracy and expected battery life of 4 years min at 25 °C (77 °F).

The viewing area is 304 x 288 mm with a 1024 x 768 XGA and 18-bit color graphics. The aspect ratio is 4:3 with a brightness of 300 nits. It has a Real-Time clock that is battery backed-up with operating lifespan of 4 years, minimum at 25 °C. It can be replaced with a CR2032 lithium coin cell. The non-replaceable LED backlight half-life is 50,000 hours. Its touchscreen is analog resistive with a 1-million press actuation rating. The touchscreen has a 100-gram operating force.
