The user is able to control the operator interface by utilizing the Touchscreen to input information and data. This unit is powered using 100-240 VAC power. This unit has the following internal memory 256 MB RAM. The approximate shipping weight and dimensions are 6 lbs. and 14 x 11 x 8 in. EtherNet/IP (Ethernet Industrial Protocol) is an open industrial network that supports real time I/O messaging, as well as message exchange. The Ethernet port connects to a controller on an EtherNet/IP network by using both the network and standard Ethernet connections. This port can work with application transfers and printing as well. The EtherNet/IP screen displays and allows the user to modify some of the EtherNet/IP communication settings for a PanelView terminal. The 2711P-RN20 Ethernet communication module is available for the 700 to 1500 terminals if another Ethernet port is required. The module has its own unique IP address. This port has an RJ45, 10/100Base-T connector for network communication and supports MDI/MDI-X connections. The parameters are downloaded with the application.
The 2711P-T6M20A8 features a monochrome display screen with diagonal measurement of 5.7- inch display screen. This Human Machine Interface (HMI) is ideal for small and simple industrial application as the monochrome screen provides a limited level of information. This operator terminal is equipped with a touch input interface that is recommended to be operated with a gloved finger or stylus, with an actuation force of 10-110 g. The touch input interface has a built-in calibration sequence that can be launched through the HMI panel’s configuration environment. This touch interface is rated up to 1 million actuations. To power up this operator terminal, it must be supplied with an external voltage of 100-240VAC with frequency of 47-63 Hz. It has a rated maximum power consumption of 35VA with typical value of 20VA.
This operator terminal is provided with internal memory areas pre-allocated for 256 MB Random Access Memory (RAM) and 512 MB non-volatile memory with 79 MB free user memory. It may be installed with Secure Digital (SD) cards to the provided SD card slot for memory and hot-swappable removable storage.
