The Control Techniques SI-PROFIBUS serves as a specialized network interface module, facilitating communication through the PROFIBUS-DP protocol. It is engineered to operate at data transmission rates anywhere from 9.6 Kbits/s up to 12 Mbits/s, providing flexibility for numerous industrial applications.

This module can accommodate a maximum of 32 input and 32 output cyclic data words, along with supporting non-cyclic data channels. It can effectively manage both cyclic and acyclic parallel data communication, enhancing versatility in operational scenarios.

The SI-PROFIBUS functions optimally in environments free of corrosive gases. With a relative humidity tolerance of 95% or less, this module guarantees that performance remains stable under non-condensing conditions. It is built to operate efficiently within an ambient temperature range of 0°C to a maximum of 55°C. Users can also store the module in temperatures that range from -20°C to 60°C without compromising its functionality.

Additionally, the module can function effectively at altitudes up to 2000 meters, making it suitable for installations in various geographical locations.
